St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Part Time Security Officer to join our team!
Job Title:
Security Officer Employment Type:
Part Time, 16 hours per week
Shift:
Night Shift, 11:30pm-8:00am weekends only
Location:
St. Mary Medical Center Position Purpose The Security Officer is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients/families, visitors, and property. As a Security Officer you will: Serve our customers and provide high-quality service with care and courtesy. Treat customers/patients in a respectful manner. Report all accidents or incidents promptly. Correct and/or report any potential safety hazard you see. Take ownership for a safe, comfortable and clean environment Makes appropriate safety and security rounds. Maintains watch on the employee parking lot. Opens/locks buildings, as appropriate. Use/extinguish premises light & turn in a list of defective lights, as appropriate. Conduct/assist with missing person reports. Provide escort services to visitors. Maintain smooth control of traffic. Assist motorists involved in vehicle breakdowns. Maintains safety practices in the area of his/her assignment. Has oversight of the SOC (Security Operations Center) Handles Duties associated with the Operation of Metal Detector and Wanding ​
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license with a good driving record 1-2 years customer service-related experience in a hospital setting Prior Hospital Security Officer experience preferred Fingerprints and background check during the hiring process
