Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and respond to alarms or unusual activity. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Hour Age Requirement:
All candidates must be at least 21 years of age (C101). Proof of age may be required during the application process.
Driver's License:
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). A copy of the driver's license should be submitted with the application.
Educational Verification:
Applicants are required to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED (C137). Acceptable documentation includes a copy of the diploma, GED certificate, or official transcripts.
Experience Requirements:
Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and deactivating access badges. Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Candidates must demonstrate experience in operating and managing alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm protocols, troubleshooting, and responding to alarm events. Customer Service Experience (B219): Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of effectively addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
Physical Requirements:
Applicants must be able to lift up to 20 lbs (B208). This requirement is essential for certain positions that involve physical tasks.

PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and direct individuals to appropriate locations. Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities in accurate, timely reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
