Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and disciplined Armed Security Officer to uphold safety and security across our premises. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, access control, and rapid emergency response. Your expertise in law enforcement procedures, firearm handling, and conflict management will ensure the safety of personnel, property, and visitors. Duties Conduct thorough patrols of the facility using CCTV systems and physical security checks to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches Manage access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Respond promptly to incidents by performing first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response procedures as needed Write detailed incident reports documenting security events, breaches, or accidents with clarity and accuracy Perform background checks on potential employees or visitors when required to ensure compliance with security regulations Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity across different areas of the premises De-escalate conflicts using conflict management techniques and enforce compliance with security policies while maintaining a professional demeanor Handle firearm handling responsibly in accordance with legal standards and organizational policies; perform heavy lifting or manual handling tasks when necessary for security purposes Experience Prior experience in military service, law enforcement, or private security is highly desirable Proven ability to operate surveillance tools including CCTV systems and access control platforms Demonstrated knowledge of emergency response procedures such as first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols Experience in performing background checks or screening processes for personnel or visitors Strong conflict de-escalation skills combined with excellent customer service abilities Familiarity with security equipment like Taser devices and familiarity with physical security best practices Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere strictly to compliance standards related to security operations Join us as an Armed Security Officer and become a vital part of our team dedicated to safeguarding assets while providing exceptional service.
