As a Security Officer Full Time Security Screener in New Stanton, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by screening visitors and personnel, monitoring access points, and communicating professionally with site stakeholders. You will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and help deter incidents through attentive observation and exceptional customer service. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a high-volume technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with access-control procedures; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals to appropriate locations. Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and visitor activity; report suspicious activity, prohibited items, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Loss Prevention experience is preferred. Alarm Panel Experience is preferred. Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
