Job Description As a Security Officer Customer Assistance Patrol in Reading, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations in a timely manner. You will provide courteous customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. Full Time Pay Rate:
$16.00 / Hour Security Experience (C112) Candidates must possess a minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience. This experience should include, but is not limited to, roles in security operations, risk assessment, and incident response. Candidates are encouraged to provide detailed descriptions of their security-related roles in their resumes and cover letters. Customer Service Experience (B219) Candidates must demonstrate prior customer service experience. This experience should encompass direct interaction with customers, problem-solving, and effective communication skills. Candidates should highlight their customer service roles and any relevant achievements in their application materials.

PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalating concerns as appropriate. Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vehicle activity, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
