Full Time Pay Rate:
$17.55 / Hour Security Experience (C112): Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience. This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle security-related tasks and responsibilities effectively. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Candidates must be proficient in using computers or tablets. This includes familiarity with basic software applications, email communication, and the ability to navigate digital platforms relevant to the job. Customer Service Experience (B219): Candidates must possess prior customer service experience. This experience should reflect the ability to interact positively with customers, resolve issues, and provide assistance in a professional manner.

PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, administrative areas, parking areas, walkways, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and maintain professional communication with campus representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
