Job Description
Overview:
Security guards are responsible for interacting with campground personnel, campground members, and other outside entities such as emergency services and other vendors that enter the campground. Security will be expected to follow the Rules and Policies of the campground. Security guards will also need to be comfortable with enforcing the Rules and Policies to the best of their ability or reporting to management when necessary.Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, child abuse history clearance, and a drug test
- CPR certified (preferred, will provide training if necessary)
- Prior security guard experience or military background (preferred)
- Must be dependable, have strong integrity, and have close attention to detail
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrols, monitors and reports any incidents on SRCA property
- Controls access to facilities (badge access, assisting authorized entry)
- Monitors security systems and cameras and respond quickly to any incidents
- Provides reports on daily activities and any incidents that may happen on shift
- Cites violators for any rule infractions
- Deliver emergency messages as needed
- Receive calls through either the radio or security phone and respond accordingly
- Acts as a liaison to emergency services by knowing who and when to contact emergency services and provide quick access to the site
- Correspond with any safety team members in the campground to ensure the safety of members during an incident
- Keep SRCA buildings secure Both positions open are year-round.
Part time hours:
8:00am to 4:30pm, 4:00pm to 12:30am, 12:00am to 8:30am. Looking for Saturday morning availability and the ability to pick up shifts during the week when shifts are available.Pay:
$16.50- $18.
