As a Security Officer Driver Emergency Preparedness in Allentown, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, and respond to alarms and incidents. This is a driving position. Hour Age Requirement :
over 21 years of age.
Driver's License :
possesses a valid driver's license, complying with the AU Driver Policy requirements.
Access Control/Badge Experience :
hands-on experience with access control systems and badge management.
Alarm Panel Experience :
familiar with alarm panel operations, ensuring safety and security protocols are followed.
Technology Proficiency :
comfortable using computers and tablets, which will facilitate efficient task management.
Customer Service Experience :
strong background in customer service, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Capability :
capable of lifting more than 20 lbs, meeting the physical demands of the role.
Loss Prevention :
experience in loss prevention strategies, contributing to the overall security of the workplace.

AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, unauthorized access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, production-adjacent areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Monitor access control activity, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation. Communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with established procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
