Security Supervisor / Site Manager Position Summary The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, visitors, and property at West Grove Hospital. This role requires proactive situational awareness, incident response, and strict adherence to hospital security protocols. The officer must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment while upholding the values and standards of Parker International Security. Key Responsibilities
- Patrol & Surveillance o Conduct regular patrols of hospital premises, including external and internal perimeters, to deter and detect unauthorized activity, hazards, or suspicious behavior. o Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to ensure compliance with hospital access control policies. o Inspect security equipment, lighting, and surveillance systems for operational readiness.
- Access Control o Verify identification and enforce visitor management protocols. o Prevent unauthorized entry and ensure restricted areas remain secure.
- Incident Response & De-escalation Parker International Security Montez Parker

o Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents. o Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts and minimize disruption. o Do not detain individuals; if a situation escalates physically or individuals refuse to leave, immediately contact 911 for law enforcement assistance.
- Emergency Procedures o Sound the alarm in any emergency situation. o Assist with fire evacuation, lockdowns, and other emergency protocols as directed. o Coordinate with hospital administration and local law enforcement during critical incidents.
- Reporting & Documentation o Maintain accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and perimeter checks. o Complete detailed incident reports and submit to the Security Supervisor within required timeframes.
- Customer Service & Professional Conduct o Provide courteous assistance to patients, staff, and visitors. o Uphold confidentiality and patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA and hospital policies. o Represent Parker International Security with professionalism and integrity at all times. Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or healthcare environment preferred.
- Strong observational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Familiarity with security systems, emergency response procedures, and report writing.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR preferred.

Work Environment
- Hospital setting; exposure to diverse populations and potentially stressful situations.
