Embark on a Journey of Impactful Adventure The Child Watch Associate is responsible for providing a safe and caring environment for children while in YMCA care. The Child Watch Associate works with their supervisor to create a fun and engaging atmosphere at the YMCA. Engages with parents and children in a positive way to further the mission of the YMCA of Greater Brandywine. Who Are We? Maintain a clean and risk-free room arrangement. Maintain records, including, (but not limited to): accident and incident reports, sign in/out sheets, attendance records. Greet parents and children daily using names in all interactions. Report and/or direct parental concerns to supervisor. Use positive, age-appropriate behavior management tools, including redirection and positive reinforcement, using the Y voice at all times. Ensure compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned.
