Job Description
CVAP Security is seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-service-oriented Healthcare Security Officer to provide security services at a healthcare facility in Williamsport, PA. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining a professional presence, assisting patients and visitors, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors while maintaining a visible security presence throughout the facility. Responsibilities Maintain assigned security post and remain alert throughout the shift. Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a professional manner. Provide directions and assist visitors in locating their destination. Monitor facility entrances and surrounding areas. Conduct scheduled facility patrols and security rounds. De-escalate conflicts and report incidents to management. Assist with patient and staff escorts when requested. Coordinate with emergency responders during emergencies. Monitor parking areas and address unauthorized parking concerns. Complete Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports accurately and professionally. Maintain compliance with client policies and company procedures. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to pass criminal background clearances. Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to remain professional in stressful situations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to stand, walk, and remain attentive for extended periods. Previous security, military, law enforcement, corrections, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
