Job Information Exemption Status:
Non-Exempt A Brief Overview Enforces regulations, policies and public laws that contribute to the safety and security of patients, visitors and employees of the medical center. Performs routine security patrols in order to prevent thefts, destruction of property, disorderly conduct and other adverse incidents on medical center property. Performs security related functions, including but not limited to standbys, motorist assistance, locks/unlocks, report writing. Education Qualifications High School Diploma / GED Required Experience Qualifications 1 year Security, law enforcement, paid fire or other emergency service experience. Required Experience with de-escalation techniques. Preferred Skills and Abilities Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and guidelines. (Required proficiency) Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. (Required proficiency) Ability to write routine reports. (Required proficiency) Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. (Required proficiency) Verbal and written communication skills. (Required proficiency) Knowledge of network, system, and application security. (Required proficiency) Licenses and Certifications Drivers License- DMV Current Valid Driver's License and Clean MVR with 3-year baseline and annual MVR review.
