Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure physical security measures are upheld Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to oversee key areas and detect potential threats or breaches Manage access control systems to verify identities, authorize entry, and maintain secure entry points Respond promptly to emergencies by following established procedures, including fire safety, medical incidents, or security breaches Write detailed incident reports documenting observations, actions taken, and outcomes for future reference Perform background checks on visitors or contractors as part of security clearance processes Utilize conflict de-escalation techniques to manage disputes peacefully and maintain a safe environment Requirements Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Knowledge of surveillance technology, CCTV operation, access control systems, and emergency response procedures Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for patrol equipment or safety measures Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use preferred Strong understanding of security regulations, compliance standards, and incident report writing protocols Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse audiences Physical fitness to perform patrols, stand for extended periods, and respond swiftly during emergencies Familiarity with firearm handling and heavy lifting techniques is advantageous but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding career where your commitment to safety empowers others!
