AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize calls for service, document incidents, and coordinate the response of on-site personnel to routine, urgent, and critical situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant details to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders. Maintain accurate dispatch logs, activity reports, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare location and perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
