Seasonal Event Security Guard Metro Security Services | Rhode Island Seasonal / Temporary | Weekend Shifts Work Events. Meet People. Make Extra Money. Metro Security Services is looking for friendly, dependable, and professional Event Security Guards to join our seasonal event team! This is not your typical security post . You'll be working at a busy event, helping guests get where they need to go, assisting with ticketing and entry, directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and helping keep the event running safely and smoothly. If you enjoy being around people, like a fast-paced environment, and are looking for seasonal weekend work , this could be a great fit. Schedule Applicants should have strong weekend availability, particularly: Friday nights Saturday days and nights Sunday days and nights Hours will vary depending on the event schedule. This is a seasonal/temporary position , and shifts may be available at different event locations. What You'll Be Doing As part of the Metro Event Security Team, you may: Welcome and assist guests as they arrive Assist with ticket checking and event entry Help manage entrance and exit lines Direct vehicle traffic and parking flow Assist with pedestrian traffic control Provide guests with basic directions and event information Monitor entrances, exits, and designated event areas Help maintain orderly and safe crowd movement Watch for safety concerns and report issues to supervisors Work alongside event staff, security personnel, and management Provide a professional and helpful Metro presence throughout the event Who We're Looking For You don't need to be intimidating to be good at event security. We're looking for people who are alert, approachable, professional, and comfortable interacting with the public.
