Security Technician Overview:

KW Corporation, INC is expanding and looking for experienced security installation technicians to join our team. Technicians will install and service security solutions, including access control and surveillance systems. On the job training will be provided for the installation of industry and company specific hardware, but previous experience of installation and troubleshooting are required. Our ideal team member is hardworking, a self-starter, willing to travel, excels in problem solving and possess strong communication skills.

this position will require out-of-state travel for weeks, and possibly months on end

Willingness to travel:

We service customers nation-wide. Techs should expect to spend 50% or more of the year on the road. Travel is paid for by KW and will include either a private hotel room or a private room in an Airbnb. Per Diem is also awarded for nights spent out of town.

Experienced:

2+ years of cabling, surveillance or access control experience is required.

Daily Tasks:

Leading a crew and running a project onsite — coordinating the day's work, keeping the install on schedule, and being the point of contact for the customer while making sure the job is done right Terminating and wiring panels, controllers, and power supplies — landing conductors cleanly, following wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting your work as you go Pulling and installing cable and devices for access control and surveillance systems Reading and interpreting blueprints to lay out and complete installations Working from ladders and scissor/boom lifts Working across a range of environments, from office and retail to industrial Operating basic hand tools and basic computer programs (Microsoft)

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License, Willingness to travel (in a company vehicle) Strong working knowledge of panels, controllers, cameras, readers, sensors, relays, and power supplies Proficient in low-voltage wiring , cabling standards, and termination best practices Ability to lift 75lbs Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (including recreational drugs)

Preferred Qualifications:

Manufacturer certifications (e.g., Gallagher, Honeywell, Bosch, etc.) Networking or IT background related to security systems OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification Experience working in commercial, industrial, healthcare, or education environments

$28.00 - $38.00 per hour
