Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Response in Hartsville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and security-related support while representing Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, caring, and integrity.

AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including business areas, loading docks, access points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required logs and documentation.
Report suspicious activity, hazards, damaged property, and policy violations to appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
