Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Contractor Special Security Representative to join our team! This position is contingent upon contract award. Provides Special Security Representative support to
USARCENT
G2 and assists Government security personnel with the administration and protection of classified and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
Responsibilities:
Support the Government Special Security Officer (SSO) with personnel security and SCI access requirements. Support verification of personnel eligibility and access requirements for classified and compartmented information. Provide day-to-day support for physical security, access control, badging, visitor control, and SCIF-related security requirements. Maintain applicable security records, files, rosters, and documentation. Support SCI access processing, security briefings, indoctrination and debriefing activities, and other personnel security requirements. Interpret and apply applicable DoD, Army, intelligence community, and
USARCENT
security policies, regulations, and procedures. Support incoming and outgoing visit certifications and other security-related personnel actions. Identify, document, and report actual or potential security incidents and support appropriate corrective actions. Ensure classified and SCI material is appropriately controlled, handled, transmitted, transported, safeguarded, and disposed of in accordance with applicable requirements. Support security inspections, reviews, training, and other security program activities. Coordinate with Government security, information security, and cybersecurity personnel as required to support classified operations.
Qualifications:
Must posess 3-5 years of relevant Special Security Representative, Special Security Officer, or comparable classified security experience preferred. Experience supporting SCIF operations and personnel, physical, and information security preferred. Knowledge of applicable Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs), 32 CFR Part 117/NISPOM, and related DoD security requirements preferred. Experience with Defense Information System for Security (DISS) or applicable Government personnel-security systems preferred. Completion of a Special Security Officer Course (SSOC) or equivalent security training preferred. Experience supporting a Combatant Command (COCOM), Army Service Component Command (ASCC), or comparable DoD headquarters environment preferred. Ability to work independently in an operational environment and apply security principles, policies, and procedures. Must posess Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility/access (TS/SCI); interim clearance not accepted. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain required Government access and credentials, including a Common Access Card (CAC), and comply with applicable DoD, Army, installation, information assurance, security, and training requirements.

From $30.83 per hour
