Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to join our team working at a local Church. The position would work every Sunday morning and several evenings, Monday through Thursdays.

Experience:

•Previous experience in any of the following, or related fields, is

REQUIRED

; Law Enforcement, Corrections, Military, or Armed Security.

•Proficient in using a smartphone, computer, and their related apps.

Responsibilities:

Punctual and Dependable Handle Conflicts or emergencies in a professional mannor. Conduct thorough patrols of the church premises, including parking lots, entrances, and interior spaces, to deter unauthorized access and identify potential hazards. Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies . Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities for record-keeping and follow-up. Conflict de-escalation when necessary and maintaining order. Proven experience in physical security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with knowledge of security practices Skilled in conflict management and de-escalation techniques to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively Knowledge of firearm handling. Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with visitors and staff Physical ability to stand for extended periods, and perform patrols involving walking or heavy lifting as needed.
