Inter-Con Security Systems is hiring an experienced Lead Unarmed Security Officer in Memphis, TN. We are seeking a security professional with prior lead experience who can support daily security operations, provide direction to fellow officers, and help maintain a safe and secure environment. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must meet the following requirements: At least 2 years of lead security experience 21 years of age or older High School Diploma or equivalent Valid, active Tennessee Security Guard License/Guard Card Ability to provide two valid forms of identification as required during the hiring process Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a security team Ability to follow and help enforce established security procedures and post orders Job Responsibilities As a Lead Unarmed Security Officer, your responsibilities may include: Provide day-to-day guidance and support to assigned Security Officers Help coordinate security assignments and maintain appropriate coverage Conduct proactive security patrols and physical security checks Monitor assigned areas and identify suspicious activity or unsafe conditions Respond to security incidents, inquiries, and emergencies Communicate with Security Leadership and the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), as applicable Ensure assigned security duties are completed according to established procedures Provide professional customer service during interactions with employees, visitors, and the public Assist with incident response and escalation to security leadership Prepare accurate, detailed incident reports and activity logs Help reinforce compliance with security standards, training, and post orders Work Environment & Schedule Full-Time Work may take place indoors or outdoors Prolonged standing and walking may be required Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as assigned Pay & Benefits Eligible employees may have access to: $19.00 per hour Training and career development opportunities Recognition and reward programs Medical and dental benefits Holiday, vacation, and sick leave 401(k) retirement plan Company-provided uniforms and equipment Benefits vary based on position and eligibility.
