Shifts are 6p-6a for the full timers and the part timer needed will be 6a-6p Saturday and Sunday Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. Duties Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities within the facility. Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions. Document incidents and prepare reports as required for management review. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or emergencies. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or safety hazards. Experience Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of conflict management techniques and crisis intervention strategies is highly valued. Familiarity with surveillance technologies and loss prevention strategies is a plus. Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
