As an Armed Security Officer in a retail grocery location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to retail grocery store clients, customers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store interior, parking areas, loading zones, perimeter, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, and policy violations; document observations and notify appropriate store contacts and/or emergency responders as needed. Maintain required firearms qualifications and follow all applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures for armed posts.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
