As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail grocery location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide courteous customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail grocery location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable laws and Allied Universal and site procedures. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or law enforcement as appropriate. Maintain required armed-post qualifications and carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
