As an Armed Security Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to store customers, employees, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures. Monitor access points, receive deliveries and/or vendors as directed, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only. An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
