Provide logistical and operational support in the planning, implementing, and supporting of school safety and security. Typical responsibilities include working with campuses to provide risk assessments/rmendations for threat analysis, along with providing operational readiness. Conducting in-house safety and security audits, implementing required mandates from the Texas School Safety Center, acting as a liaison between our campuses and local public safety, and assisting campuses with the planning andpletion of emergency drills, including after-action reports. Other responsibilities will include interacting with vendors and coordinatingmunications with campuses as it relates to safety and security. Work is performed under general supervision and within established district policies and procedures.Qualifications:
Education/Certification/Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Security Officermissioned by Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) or law enforcement, private security, or military experience, preferred A First Aid and CPR Certificate A clear criminal background check Clear and valid License to Carry through DPS Must be able to pass psychological exam Ability to attend and pass 80 hours of School Marshal training at the district's expenseSpecial Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to clearly and accurately record information Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to work effectively with youths and adults Ability tomunicate effectivelyExperience:
3 years experience working in a public school or in law enforcement or militarySalary Range:
