Hilton Denton Convention Center Essential Responsibilities:
Patrols lobbies, corridors and public restrooms, confers with management, interviews guests and team members and interviews persons to detect infringements, investigates disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, etc. Patrols public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions and damaged or inoperative safety equipment. Acts to warn or reject individuals who violate legal regulations, including state and local laws. Obtains assistance for accident victims and files accident reports. Notifies staff of presence of persons with questionable reputations. Assists management and enforcement officers in emergency situations. May enter and check rooms of guests suspected of leaving without paying bill to confirm suspicions and to seize any remaining personal property. Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy. Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties. Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner. Embrace O'Reach, Green Team, Guest Service, Team Member Satisfaction, Health & Wellness, and Safety culture. Performs other related duties as required.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership, management, organizational and communication skills. The ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to deliver results. The ability to work well with, as well as motivate, a variety of personality types and maintain tact and diplomacy throughout all interactions. The ability to multitask and prioritize. Have computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc. Use analytical skills for measuring business potential and value to the hotel. Interact with all levels of customers and hotel management. Being comfortable with the high level of visibility and the leadership role with the hotel and community. Able to work under pressure
Education & Experience:
Security experience preferred (Military Veteran, Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, Corrections) High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Current Driver's License required.
Hours:
Position requires flexibility to work adjusted schedule, including nights and weekends as needed. Responsible for responding to emergencies as necessary, requiring the possibility of response times occurring on nights and/or weekends. Requirements of the

activity or condition exists up to 2/3 or most of the time) to move objects. May be required to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion. This is a safety sensitive position that may be subject to additional safety requirements.
