Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour (DOE) Position Overview We are seeking a professional and dependable Corporate Security Officer to support a high-rise corporate office in Downtown Houston. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for tenants, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate is proactive, vigilant, and highly reliable, with the ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations. This position requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Monitor and patrol the property, including interior and exterior areas, to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unsafe conditions Control access points and verify credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, alarms, and incidents Conduct routine foot patrols, requiring extended periods of walking and standing Identify and report security risks, hazards, or suspicious activity Maintain accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site policies and procedures Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and building management as needed Requirements 2+ years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military ( preferred ) Strong observational and problem-solving skills Ability to stay calm, composed, and professional in stressful situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical & Work Conditions Must be physically capable of long periods of walking and standing Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations Ability to work in various weather conditions (as applicable for outdoor patrols) Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $16.00 - $18.00 DOE Discounted health insurance options available What We're Looking For We are looking for a safety-focused, proactive professional who takes pride in maintaining a secure environment and upholding the highest standards of integrity and service.
