Duties Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure physical security. Control access to facilities using access control systems, performing background checks on visitors and contractors as needed. Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fences, to identify potential security breaches or hazards. Respond promptly to emergency situations by following established procedures, including fire safety protocols and medical emergencies such as first aid or CPR. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events for record-keeping and future reference. Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for security equipment or supplies. Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety for all parties involved. Requirements Level 2 Certified Proven experience in physical security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, Taser use, firearm handling, and conflict management are preferred. Knowledge of surveillance technology including CCTV systems and access control systems is essential. Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough security screenings efficiently. Strong understanding of emergency response procedures and compliance with security regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse individuals. Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking periods. Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly while making quick decisions during incidents or emergencies.
