Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Trainee in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for security-related concerns. Monitor access activity by verifying credentials, following visitor processing procedures, and reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or restricted area concerns. Support daily operations by preparing clear incident reports, relaying important information during shift changes, and assisting with site-specific security-related assignments as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
