The Senior Public Safety Officer will mentor and guide team members while managing essential security operations. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree, IAHSS certification, and demonstrated leadership skills in mentoring and team development. Responsibilities Leadership & Team Support Mentor, train, and evaluate Public Safety Officers Provide guidance and support for team development and performance Security Operations Patrol property by vehicle and on foot to maintain a safe environment Manage door screenings, access control, and lock/unlock procedures Operate and monitor security technology systems and report issues Special Assignments & Customer Service Handle morgue duty, package and animal deliveries, and parking/traffic control Assist motorists, provide escort services, and relieve dispatchers when needed Prepare accurate incident and departmental reports Emergency Response Respond to calls and make sound decisions under pressure Ensure compliance with institutional safety protocols Requirements

EDUCATION

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

Associate's Degree

WORK EXPERIENCE

Required:

Minimum 2 years as a Public Safety Officer or related experience

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Required:

Valid Class A, B or C Texas driver's license

Preferred:

International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) certification
