Overview Join our dynamic security team as a Security Guard and play a vital role in safeguarding our facilities, assets, and personnel. This energetic position requires vigilant observation, quick response skills, and a proactive approach to security management. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment by monitoring premises, conducting patrols, and implementing security protocols. Whether you have a background in law enforcement, military service, or security operations, your dedication will help create a secure space for everyone involved. Responsibilities Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety across all areas Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when necessary and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating disputes and ensuring safety for all parties Perform loss prevention activities by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting suspicious behavior Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping Qualifications Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and experience with loss prevention techniques Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Familiarity with security protocols, emergency response procedures, and legal regulations governing security work Ability to stand or walk for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and emergency responders Join us in creating a safe environment where everyone can thrive!
