Contract (flexible based on client needs) Job Summary Spears Safeguard, LLC is seeking a highly professional, discreet, and experienced Level IV Personal Protection Officer (PPO) to provide close protection and executive security services in the Kerrville and surrounding Texas Hill Country area. The ideal candidate is a seasoned protector who excels in situational awareness, threat assessment, and maintaining a calm, professional demeanor in all environments. This role involves both armed and plain-clothes duties to ensure client safety while minimizing visibility. Key Responsibilities Provide close personal protection and bodyguard services for clients during daily activities. Maintain constant situational awareness and respond effectively to potential threats or emergencies. Accompany clients on local, regional, and occasional out-of-area travel as needed. Perform residential and executive protection duties, including access control and perimeter security. Prepare detailed incident and activity reports. Collaborate with team members and coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and client confidentiality. Qualifications & Requirements Active Texas Level IV Personal Protection Officer (PPO) License (required). Valid Texas Security Officer Commission (Level III) and supporting training documentation. Preferred 2 years of experience in law enforcement, or military protective operations. Must be at least 21 years of age. Excellent physical fitness and ability to perform defensive tactics. Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record. CPR/First Aid certification (preferred). Strong communication skills, professional appearance, and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel. Successful completion of background check, drug screening.
