Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support smooth site access for visitors and staff. This is a driving post. In this role, you will remain visible, perform routine patrols, and deliver strong customer service and communication while representing a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and site personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor entry and exit points for a busy logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through Allied Universal and site communication channels as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas, gates, parking areas, and loading or shipping zones, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
