Lubbock, TX Job Details Full-time $16- $17 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Access control systems CPR Certification Stress management CCTV First Aid Certification Armed Security License Patrolling Security Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant unarmed Security Officer to join our security team.
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as needed.
- Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems and other monitoring tools.
- Enforce policies and procedures related to safety and security.
- Provide conflict management support during incidents involving personnel or visitors.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of activities, incidents, and observations during shifts.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures.
- Administer first aid or CPR as required in emergency situations. Experience Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while making sound decisions.
- A valid armed security officer license or certification is required.
Pay:
$16.00- $17.
