9:00 AM•5:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking professional, customer-focused Security Officers to provide a safe and secure environment at a high-traffic retail location in Quinlan, TX. The ideal candidate will possess strong observation skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the ability to remain professional while interacting with customers, visitors, and store personnel. Officers must be comfortable spending extended periods on their feet conducting patrols throughout the property and responding to various security and safety concerns. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to utilize technology for reporting and daily security operations. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular interior and exterior foot patrols of the property. Maintain a visible security presence to help deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activity. Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violations. Provide exceptional customer service to customers, employees, and visitors. Respond appropriately to disturbances, emergencies, and requests for assistance. Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity reports using electronic systems. Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and other assigned locations. Assist with crowd management and customer-related concerns as needed. Follow all post orders, company policies, and security procedures. Communicate effectively with management, law enforcement, and emergency responders when necessary. Minimum Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older . Must possess a valid Driver's License . Previous security experience required. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn site-specific technology. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Preferred Qualifications Retail security experience. Loss prevention experience. Customer service experience. Experience writing incident and activity reports. Experience using mobile devices, tablets, or electronic reporting systems. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to patrol both indoor and outdoor areas. Ability to work in varying weather conditions. Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and incidents. Ability to bend, climb stairs, and perform routine security patrols.
