Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Armed Security Officer to protect people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, well‑trained, and able to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Duties Patrol assigned areas to deter, detect, and prevent security threats Monitor access points Enforce company policies and procedures Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations Control access to facilities and verify identification Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security protocols Work collaboratively with law enforcement when required Qualifications Must be 21 years or older Valid Armed Security License (Texas Level III or equivalent, if applicable) Valid Firearms Certification Clean criminal background (background check required) Ability to pass drug screening Prior armed security or law enforcement experience preferred Strong communication and de‑escalation skills Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods Reliable transportation
