As a Security Officer Credential Control Driver in Texas City, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines at an industrial location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or contractor access in accordance with site policies. Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, security-related concerns, and operational irregularities. Support access control operations for vehicles, materials, and restricted areas by following post orders, maintaining accurate logs, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors.Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A TSA issued TWIC is required. Be at least 21 years of age. Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
