Unarmed Security Guard (Bilingual) Blackstone Security Services of Texas Vinton, TX Job Details Full-time From $11 an hour 2 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Spanish CPR Certification Customer communication Customer service English High school diploma or GED Driver's License First Aid Certification Guard Card Security Full Job Description Hiring Immediately (Must have a current Texas Security license on the day of hire) We are seeking a Unarmed Security Officer to become an integral part of our team. This position is in the VINTON area. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons in various locations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields
- Previous experience in customer service (i.e. answering / transferring phone calls)
- Familiarity with security equipment
- CPR / First Aid / AED certification perferred
- Must provide proof of
COVID-19
vaccinations
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing the English language for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
- Must be bilingual (speak English and Spanish)
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Pass a background check
- Must be willing to work all shifts including nights and weekends.
- Ability to pass our Pre-Employment screening, including drug test,
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a current Texas Security Officer License
- Valid Driver's License (preferred)
