Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Armed Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for protecting personnel, property, and assets by maintaining a visible security presence and responding swiftly to incidents. Your expertise in law enforcement, surveillance, and conflict management will be essential in ensuring a secure environment. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism. Conduct thorough inspections of individuals entering and exiting the premises, verifying identification and purpose of visit. Utilize CCTV systems and other surveillance tools to observe activity, identify suspicious behavior, and gather evidence when necessary. Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed. Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate disputes. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly. Enforce security policies and procedures consistently while providing excellent customer service to staff and visitors. Experience Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention strategies is preferred. Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous; candidates with these certifications will be prioritized. Familiarity with conflict management techniques and law enforcement protocols enhances effectiveness in this role.
