Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Non-Commissioned Security Officers to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. This is a critical role that requires strong surveillance skills, conflict management abilities, and knowledge of security protocols.Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activities
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Provide assistance to staff and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Enforce access control procedures to maintain the security of the premises
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related incidents
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property
- Perform first aid or CPR in emergency situations until medical professionals arrive
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Proficient in operating surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security-related field is preferred
- Possession of relevant certifications such as First Aid, CPR, or Security Guard License is a plus
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
