Job Description As a Security Officer Badge System Support in Westlake, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, manage access control, and assist visitors and employees with professional customer service. Use computer or tablet systems to document activity and communicate clearly with the team. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services office location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned office areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor visitor access, maintain visitor logs, and provide professional directions and assistance to employees, guests, and vendors. Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
