Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and responding to incidents. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring the safety of all individuals on site. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV and other security equipment. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies. Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor. Assist in conflict management by de-escalating situations as necessary. Provide first aid and CPR when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals in need. Document incidents and prepare reports as needed for law enforcement or management review. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure proper handling of security matters. Skills Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and equipment, including CCTV systems. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong observational skills with attention to detail. Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse groups of people.
