Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Officer to uphold safety and security standards across our facilities. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for protecting personnel, property, and confidential information through proactive security measures, law enforcement collaboration, and exceptional customer service. Your expertise in security protocols, law enforcement procedures, and data reporting will ensure a secure environment while maintaining compliance with safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead security operations with professionalism, integrity, and a focus on community safety. Responsibilities Monitor premises through in-person patrols, CCTV surveillance, and access control points to deter unauthorized activity. Conduct thorough background checks on visitors, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with security policies. Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement agencies and emergency responders. Write detailed reports documenting incidents, observations, and security breaches using clear and precise language. Maintain accurate data reporting logs related to security activities, incidents, and access records. Enforce safety regulations and security protocols in accordance with legal requirements and company policies. Provide in-person customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries professionally, and handling confidential information discreetly. Lead security team members when necessary, providing guidance on procedures and ensuring adherence to compliance standards. Qualifications Proven experience in law enforcement or security roles with a strong understanding of criminal law and legal procedures. Ability to perform background checks effectively while respecting privacy laws and confidentiality standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for report writing and data reporting tasks. Knowledge of safety regulations, security best practices, and compliance requirements within a corporate environment. CPR certification or willingness to obtain it upon hire to respond effectively during emergencies. Excellent writing skills for incident reports, logs, and official documentation. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
