Morning, Swing & Overnight Job Overview S&S Labor Force JRM is now hiring Event Security Guards for KubeCon 2026 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in downtown Salt Lake City. This event runs from November 4 through November 13, 2026, with full-time hours available throughout the event. We are hiring for morning, swing, and overnight shifts. We are looking for dependable, professional, and customer-service-oriented individuals who can help maintain a safe and secure environment for attendees, exhibitors, vendors, staff, and event personnel. Job Responsibilities As an Event Security Guard, your responsibilities may include:

• Monitor entrances, exits, exhibit halls, meeting rooms, hallways, loading docks, and other assigned areas.
• Verify badges, credentials, and authorization before allowing access to restricted areas.
• Maintain access control at designated doors and checkpoints.
• Prevent unauthorized entry into secured and back-of-house areas.
• Conduct foot patrols throughout assigned areas.
• Monitor crowd movement and assist with maintaining safe and orderly lines.
• Provide professional customer service and directions to attendees.
• Monitor freight doors, loading areas, equipment, and event property.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, disturbances, or other security concerns.
• Immediately report incidents and emergencies to supervisors.
• Assist with medical emergencies, evacuations, crowd management, and other emergency procedures when directed.
• Maintain radio communication with supervisors and other security personnel.
• Follow assigned post orders and instructions from security supervisors and management.
• Remain alert and attentive throughout the entire shift.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing S&S Labor Force JRM.
• Follow all company and Salt Palace Convention Center security policies and procedures. Qualifications
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy event environment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable working around large crowds.
• Security, event, convention, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule This position is specifically for KubeCon 2026, November 4-13, 2026.

Available shifts include:

• Morning / Day Shift
• Swing / Evening Shift
• Overnight Shift Full-time hours are available during the event.
