AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a utility location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for staff, visitors, and vendors while following post orders and escalation procedures for restricted or sensitive areas. Support daily operations at the location by communicating with site contacts, assisting with incident response, and completing required reports, logs, and other post documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
