Part-Time Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and professional Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and property during weekend night shifts. This role involves routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing excellent guest service. Responsibilities Patrol hotel property, including hallways, exterior grounds, and parking areas Monitor and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations Respond to alarms, emergencies, and guest concerns in a timely manner Complete incident reports for accidents, injuries, or unusual events Enforce hotel policies, including no-solicitation rules Escort guests or staff as needed for safety Communicate effectively with management regarding incidents or concerns Qualifications Reliable transportation and punctual Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently overnight Previous security or hospitality experience preferred, but not required Requirements Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods Must be able to work all scheduled weekend shifts Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures Work Environment Hotel setting (indoor and outdoor patrols) Fast-paced environment requiring quick decision-making

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

High school education plus schooling in law enforcement, loss prevention or related major.

One or more years of related experience.

Alcohol awareness and first aid certification plus familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.
