Job Description
The Security Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily security operations through the Local Command Center (LCC), ensuring the safety and security of employees, visitors, assets, and facilities. This role serves as a key operational contact for security, fire, health, safety, and crisis-related incidents while supporting compliance, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives.

$26.73/hr. (paid weekly) 10% Night Shift Differential ($29.40/hr.)Schedule:

7pm-7am Core Responsibilities Coordinate 24/7 security operations within the Local Command Center in accordance with established procedures and best practices. Serve as a deputy to Site Security Management during security, fire, safety, health, and crisis incidents. Assess, escalate, and coordinate responses to incidents using established contingency and escalation plans. Maintain accurate incident logs, reports, and operational documentation. Support investigations and liaise with emergency responders and local authorities when required . Conduct shift handovers and provide operational updates to stakeholders. Monitor security, access control, CCTV, and fire systems, reporting faults through PLANON or other approved systems. Train and support security service providers in responding to incidents, alarms, and emergencies. Manage key control processes, site inspections, operational reports, and penetration test activities. Support KPI reporting, continuous improvement initiatives, and the implementation of security best practices. Work Environment & Flexibility Ability to support a 24/7 operation, including day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts. Participate in emergency response activities, drills, and investigations. Support multiple facilities within the Local Command Center's area of responsibility. Work in both command center and site environments, including routine inspections. Requirements 3+ years of experience in security operations, emergency management, law enforcement, military, or a related field. Experience with CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems. Knowledge of incident management, crisis response, and security procedures. Strong decision-making, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience preparing reports, maintaining records, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and security management platforms. Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. Fire panel monitoring certification or ability to obtain certification as required . Technical Skills Monitor and respond to security, access control, CCTV, and fire system alarms. Coordinate incident response , investigations, and corrective actions. Administer access control, surveillance, key management, and security reporting processes. Support fire and life safety compliance, emergency response activities, and evacuation procedures. Troubleshoot integrated security systems and coordinate resolution of system issues. Preferred Qualifications Security industry certification (CPP, PSP, or equivalent). Experience in manufacturing, corporate, logistics , or critical infrastructure environments. Experience with PLANON or similar Integrated Workplace Management Systems. Knowledge of security risk management, business continuity, and emergency preparedness.
