Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic security team as an Unarmed Security Officer and play a vital role in safeguarding our facilities, assets, and personnel. In this energetic position, you will utilize your keen surveillance skills and security expertise to maintain a safe environment. Your proactive approach and commitment to safety will ensure smooth operations while providing excellent customer service to visitors, staff, and contractors. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity, hazards, or security breaches. Operate access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for authorized personnel and visitors. Perform surveillance using CCTV cameras and other security technology to oversee critical areas. Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns, incidents, or irregularities observed during shifts. Assist with emergency response procedures, including first aid administration, AED operation, and fire safety protocols. Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully and maintain a secure environment. Support compliance with all security regulations and company policies while performing manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary. Experience Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Knowledge of surveillance equipment, CCTV systems, access control systems, and emergency response procedures. Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation, and Taser use is preferred. Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough security screenings when required. Strong communication skills for incident report writing, conflict management, and customer service interactions. Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties, heavy lifting, and manual handling tasks safely. Familiarity with fire safety protocols, heavy lifting techniques, and compliance with security regulations ensures readiness for diverse scenarios.
