POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

FUNCTIONS

): Afognak Diversified Services, Inc a company of Afognak Native Corporation has opportunity for F/T Armed Secruity Officers in Herndon, VA. The F/T Armed Security Officer secures the facility under established operating procedures and processes. Responds to a variety of calls/incidents Secures/safeguards specific scenes Performs crowd control as required Performs personnel, vehicular, and building facility checks; as well as First Aid and CPR as required. Completes all required reports, forms, and other established procedures via electronic security application Safely maintains and qualifies with assigned weapons, maintains uniform and grooming standards in accordance with company policies Operates patrol vehicle in a safe manner, conducts flag protocols, safe guards all assets Provides motorist assistance and escort persons and equipment as needed Conducts other assignments in accordance with established SOP's Pay rate: $31.50 to $31.96 hourly

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Must be at least 21 years of age. High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. Successfully pass a criminal history background investigation. Must Speak English fluently; read and comprehend written English. Must be capable of learning new computer programs and applications. Must be able to work various shifts, to include weekends and Holidays. Must be able to successfully complete approximately 80 hrs. of company provided training. (Classes are scheduled 7 days a week). Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen. Must be able to successfully complete and pass all company provided training; to include Expandable Baton, Defensive Tactics, and incident report writing. Must possess a Drivers License (If Driving is required). Must be able to successfully pass the Afognak Driver's Safety Course. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with little supervision. Security Officer Guard State Licensing is required. Concealed Carry Permit is required after hiring. Must be professional and customer service orientated.
