Job Description As a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Readiness in HERNDON, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and communicate professionally with personnel and visitors. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, restricted-access areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required. An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
